Only Numerical Data Transfers from GSI Tympstar

If the GSI Tympstar (Serial Device) is configured incorrectly it may only send numerical data to AudBase. 

Follow these step by step instructions to ensure that graphics / curves transfer from the device.

Note: This issue only affects the older GSI Tympstar which utilizes a serial port.

  1. On the Tympstar, select the ETF button and then select  Return.
  2. Select Instrument Options
    1. If Instrument options is not displayed, select More.
  3. Select Data Transfer Settings and then select Tymp.
  4. Select Summary + Graphics to indicate you wish to transfer both numerical data, and graphics to AudBase.
  5. Select STORE to save your changes.
